Precioso y tranquilo camping, ideal para descansar, en un entorno único. Es muy bonito y los trabajadores son muy simpáticos.
Por decir algo, los baños no son de cinco estrellas y se agradecería que hubiera alguna información en español
La parcela era espectacular. Tenemos una caravana muy grande y los vecinos seguían lejos. Genial!!
Thank you for the beautifull grade. As for the toilets, it is a back-up toilet block, the main one is near the castle and yes, we can have information in spanish but so few Spanish people come to Chanteloup, it wasn't a problem ;)

Toilet block is a nightmare Miles away from the emplacements meaning long walks in the night
Serviced pitch was fine
The site is very expensive and as such you would expect much better services instead of all near the main bar and reception block

The serviced pitches are a bit far away because with the water drainage system you can plug in and use your own toilets ;) It was explained in your confirmation email, you could have changed. It is better to ask to be near the main toilet block if you do not use this system

The setting, ambience, how kind and pleasant the staff were. How relaxed I felt knowing my daughter was having such a lovely time within their beautiful grounds.
Stunning pitch, gorgeous views and so peaceful. I cannot wait to return during the same week next year.

Really enjoyed our stay, full of rustic charm and the communal BBQ is a lovely idea. Your on site restaurant looked delightful, wished we had stayed longer
We only stayed one night, but initial observation was your shop could have been better stocked.
Our pitch was great, shaded and with a huge amount of space despite being fully booked
The tap by the big tree could do with being more secure, the whole water point moves when turning on. But this is being very fussy, the pitch was excellent

Busy yet peaceful and spacious campsite.
Expensive. The pool was crowded and maybe it would be nice to allow extended opening so people without kids could enjoy it in the evening especially during the hot weather.

Thank you very much for the good feedback. It is indeed a very busy period so the swimming pool can be crowded and with the surroundings it is not really possible to extend it but we can have other ideas ;). If you like peace and quiet, I would suggest you to come in June instead ;)

I had a great time, traveling by myself. I especially loved the atmosphere, the beautiful weather , swimming pool and rhe restaurant, all on site. Lots of families though and few travellers by themselves
Everything is taken care off, the staff is very helpful and the restaurant, bar and swimming pool are a nice exrra

Prachtige camping waarbij je merkt dat ze het niet vol proberen te proppen, waardoor je alle ruimte hebt en toch ook heel veel gezelligheid

Hele ruime beschutte plekken. Aanrader om niet te ver van de badruimte te staan wanneer je niet beschikt over eigen sanitair.

Apartment needs an update. Everything is old and smells dusty.
Beds are nice. Garden is really nice! We spend a lot of time in the garden.
Shower is old, living room smells dusty and everything is really old.
Thank you for your feedback, but we really find it a bit harsh. You were staying in the Petite Orangerie, a very old building from the 15th century, so it is normal that you might notice a smell of dust. You came to reception because you felt the cleaning had not been done properly and provided photos as proof — photos that you had taken under the furniture, so of course a few cobwebs may be found there. Even though we felt these photos were exaggerated, we decided to refund you the cleaning fee and offer you a bottle of rosé. We therefore feel that this rating is not fair, in addition to not being justified. At the very beginning, you made a mistake with your booking, thinking we were located by the sea, and you wanted to cancel when you realized we weren’t. Since the deposit was non-refundable, you kept the booking — perhaps that explains this review?

When booking in customers, it is a little rude to twice be distracted by a colleague. Albeit, it was clear that they were leaving for the Netherlands! We decided to stay at Le Chanteloup, as we had previously stayed here approximately 12 years ago when our children were small. Unfortunately, the experience was not how we remembered it.
The pitch was a good size, albeit not ideal location for Motorhome, due to overhanging branches.
We were in a Motorhome. I informed the person booking us in that, before being shown to our pitch, I’d like to fill up with water. I was told that there was several water sources close to our pitch. There was no mention of a dedicated motorhome service area. Consequently, I was shown to our pitch and then had to leave to obtain water and then return back to the pitch. Surely, this is not a 5* Castels standard of service.
Thank you for the feedback. We are sorry for this bad experience. At reception, there can be a large number of people with different questions, staff in training who also have questions (especially in high season), and it can sometimes be very difficult to stay focused. We are available and attentive to everyone ;) There is of course a service for motorhomes, but also many water points throughout the estate. Your experience was not a good one and we are saddened by this, but fortunately there are many other Castels campsites, as this one was not to your liking ;)

Het chateau is prachtig en geeft de camping charme. De velden zijn enorm ruim opgezet waardoor je fijn uitzicht hebt voor je tent en privacy ervaart. Er worden originele activiteiten georganiseerd zoals een pubquiz en een sumoworstelcompetitie. Zwembad en ligweide is fijn. Er is een grote vaste kliek gasten en 's avonds heb je soms het idee dat je bij een borrel in het Gooi staat ipv op de camping in Frankrijk.
Het sanitair gebouwtje bij het voorste veld (Chesnaie) is echt te klein (2 wc's, 1 kinder wc en geen douches) voor wanneer het hoogseizoen is en wordt niet vaak genoeg schoongemaakt. Geen vijf sterren waardig. Sanitair in hoofdgebouw is ver weg en alhoewel de schoonmaak daar ook vaker mag gebeuren, zijn er wel voldoende wc's en douches. Winkeltje is alleen in ochtend en einde middag paar uurtjes open en hanteert flinke prijzen.
Ruime plaats, veel schaduw
Mollen die onder je tent gangen graven en voor de tent een hoop mollenhopen. Sanitair onder de maat bij voorste veld (Chesnaie); vaak wachtrijen, geen douches en niet schoon.
Thank you very much for the feedback and sorry for this experience; It's planned to improve this back-up block in the Chesnaie zone even if it is just a back-up ;) The sanitaries are regularly cleaned on the site but when the campsite is full, it is hard to keep them really clean, we will pass on the information.

De sfeer was wederom ontspannen en gezellig. Heerlijk ruime plekken in een prachtig onderhouden landgoed. Leuk ook om met de hond de paadjes op de camping te bewandelen. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk, we voelden ons zeer welkom. Leuke activiteiten ook.
Wij stonden bij het kleine toiletgebouw en die kan wel een update gebruiken. Vooral de douche was stuk (douchekop los). Daarnaast mag er ook wel vaker worden schoongemaakt en aangevuld (zeep, wc papier) gezien het intensieve gebruik van het gebouwtje. Het was vaak ronduit vies.
De plaats had heerlijk veel schaduw en ook zon. Lekker ruim. We komen zeker terug!

Many thank for this important feedback and very nice comment about Chanteloup. We will pass on the information about the back-up toilet block in La Chesnaie zone, but even cleaned regularly, during this busy period and so many people on site, it can get durty really quickly ;)

Zwembad heerlijk, mooie grote natuurlijke plekken, gezellige bar/ restaurant en bovenal hondvriendelijk
Klein extra sanitair blok niet voor de drukte maar voor de loopafstand;)
Voor eerste keer glamping en zeer goed bevallen. Lekker bed, geen gesleep met spullen.
Wat ver lopen naar sanitair Wij zouden plastic borden en bekers handiger vinden ivm afwassen aangezien er geen water bij de glamping was.
