Precioso y tranquilo camping, ideal para descansar, en un entorno único. Es muy bonito y los trabajadores son muy simpáticos.
Por decir algo, los baños no son de cinco estrellas y se agradecería que hubiera alguna información en español
La parcela era espectacular. Tenemos una caravana muy grande y los vecinos seguían lejos. Genial!!
Thank you for the beautifull grade. As for the toilets, it is a back-up toilet block, the main one is near the castle and yes, we can have information in spanish but so few Spanish people come to Chanteloup, it wasn't a problem ;)

The campsite has a very relaxed feel and excellent facilities.
Our porch was huge we had so much space with sun and shade.
On some occasions the electric supply dipped slightly which impacted our fridge.

Loved this site so much! The château and it's grounds are wonderful, the staff are all so friendly and helpful.
Free WiFi around the site would be nice

we have stayed here on a number of occasions in the past. On this occasion we were only staying one night en route across France, but we were still made to feel very welcome. The site has everything you want for a longer (or a short) stay and we dined very well in the restaurant in the evening. Thank you Chanteloup. We'll definitely be back.
the signage off the main road is not very clear and travelling in the direction we were the sign was just after the point you needed to make the turn, so we had to do a tour of the local village before getting back onto the main road. The locals seem to think this is a quite common experience. I think on previous occasions when we visited Chanteloup we were coming from the other direction so did not experience that problem then, or we simply forgot!
The pitches are all grass so you expect them not to be level, but we had a very good spot. thank you
the pitching where we were centred around the large tree in the middle. It was a lovely outlook, but I think that putting some sort of surface (say a gravel roud) down around the tree for people to tow on to the other side of the field would be a good idea rather than driving across the bumpy grass. I can't imagine what state it would be in by the end of the season or when it rains.

Wir haben die Ruhe und die Abkühlung im Pool bei unserer Zwischenübernachtung sehr genossen. Eine sehr schöne Anlage.
Manches ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal erneuert werden. Die Preisgestaltung ist für die Leistung etwas zu hoch.
Super Platz mit Blick auf Chateau.

De omgeving en ligging van de camping,
Meer sanitair, degelijke afvalbakken. Tapkranen verouderd. Afwasplekken te klein.
Standplaats was prachtig met uitzicht op het chateau, verder niets op aan te merken.

Well spaced out with large sites. Also a bit of shade from the forest. Altogether very pleasant.
The grey water drains on pitch were built up, meaning the van didn't drain well. There could be a few more chemical toilet dumps or another toilet block or two. Also existing chemical dump was awkward to use as the rinse hose came on when you pressed the tap and only lasted for 5 seconds. You would have needed 3 hands. No food served during the day, just ice-cream and alcohol. Shop only seemed open 830 to 1030am Staff seem a bit stressed about customers opening the freezer. ??
Quiet, fairly flat and provision as described.
The drain was built up making grey drainage difficult.

As usual everyone at Ch Chanteloup was very welcoming - all very efficient with a lovely relaxed ambiance on site
Can’t think of anything
Large reasonably level forest pitch was tidy and clean. Lots of room for a large motorhome and trailer. Plenty of room for Edgar the German Shepherd on his longish lead.
A long walk to the toilet “dump” and showers - not an easy trek over soft ground for someone with any mobility issues.

Superleuk kamperen in de tuinen van een schitterend chateau. Ruim opgezet. Veel vermaak voor kinderen, ook in het Nederlands! Enthousiast en vriendelijk personeel.
Sanitair zou iets uitgebreider mogen en wat schoner.

Woodland paths, quiet and peaceful site within nature. Large pitches, modern laundry (once you have downloaded the app it is easy to use). I downloaded and read the welcome leaflet and was pleased to see your approach to sustainability. Site itself is nice with elegant Chateau and grounds.
Disappointed that despite the ban on BBQs for fire safety reasons, some people persisted in using BBQs. At a previous site on this trip, we were asked to sign to say that we would not use a BBQ of any type whilst on the site. It was a large site and everyone observed this. Disappointed that guests put plastic and other waste in the Bio Waste bin by the washing up sinks. Also disappointed that guests leave food waste in the sinks and do not leave them clean after use. No practical public transport nearby. A trip to Le Mans was not practical. Menu in restaurant limited.
Pitch was nice, good size and secluded.
Would like wider availability of 16A electricity. There was none available when we booked (end January 2026).
Thank you so much for this important feedback. We completly unhderstand but it is quoite difficult to check everything and look after everyone on such a big campsite. We trust our guests and hope that everyone will behave responsibly, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. It's sad. We need to think about a procedure to deal with this, but we simply can't be everywhere at once.

De sfeer, de kleinschaligheid, de rust, de mensen, het team, het gemak voor de kinderen om contact te maken, de activiteiten. Eigenlijk alles!
Iets meer uitleg / informatie verstrekken bij inchecken. En (slecht tijdens de vakantie, maar toch) de wifi.
Rust! Heel netjes, fijne bedden, douche en keuken. Van alle gemakken voorzien.
Niets eigenlijk. Wellicht de warmte, iets van een ventilator zou handig kunnen zijn.

De camping is ruim op gezet. Met mooie zeer afwisselende plaatsen rondom en in de buurt van het kasteel. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig van ping Pong tot parasols bij het zwembad. Van kabelbaan tot buiten gym. Van restaurant tot fijne terrassen. Van droger tot kids activiteiten. Van winkeltje tot speeltuin. Van massage tot tennisbaan. Van muziek op het toilet tot bakkertje. Maar allemaal passend bij het kasteel en smaakvol aangelegd. Niet commercieel schreeuwend, maar stijlvol en rustiek, goed onderhouden en netjes. Op het hele terrein ervaar je rust en relaxheid met veel bomen en schaduw.
Over water en electriciteit. Je hebt verschillende plekken. Rondom een hele grote mooie oude eik. Bij het meertje. In het bos. Sommige plekken op natuurlijke wijze afgezet met een groene haag. Andere meer open. Maar ze zijn ruim en altijd met uitzicht.
Voor tieners is er niet zo veel te doen. Maar het was mooi weer. Dus luieren in de zon was ook prima voor ze. En er is wifi 😉

Echt een geweldige camping. Perfecte sfeer en entourage. Grote plekken, voorzien van water en electra.
Restaurant. Kwaliteit eten kan echt beter. WC gebouw relatief ver lopen. Dan zou het helemaal perfect zijn

Eerste dagen van ons verblijf waren er geen activiteiten.

Thank you for the very nice grade and comment ;) As for the activities, the kids club started the 19 of July and we made a BBQ the 18 but there was not that many people onsite. We actually start the activities when the high season is starting but we will keep this remark and see how we can do better, even with less people ;)

Prachtige plek/ omgeving. Ruime plaatsen. Hartelijk ontvangst. Leuk zwembad.
Tijdens grote drukte mag het sanitair werk beter of vaker gereinigd worden.

Thank you for the very positive message and we will check with the cleaning staff because they do the cleaning 3 times a day. You are right, with so many people, it's hard to keep the sanitaries clean at all times especially if some are not respectfull. We will ask them to check more often

Na al die jaren nog steeds een leuke charmante en rustige camping waar ik goed tot rust kan komen
Het water in de douche is niet altijd warm en sommige kranen in de wasbak ruimtes zijn vervangen door een ouderwetse drukknop waardoor alles nat wordt en je eigenlijk nog geen water kunt gebruiken dit doet de camping goedkoop worden
Fijne rustige plek in het bos met genoeg schaduw en zon
Behalve die goedkope kranen en dat de muziek in de toiletruimte wat te hard stond eigenlijk niet veel
