Family with kid. The pool, the lake with the floating island are great for the kids. Also the options for activities on the campsite are nice.
The wood makes it more nature. A nice terrace with views on trees and lake.
The wooden chalet can be a bit cleaner, a simple cleaning with hoover in all the edges, closets, drawers, under beds and ceiling would do the trick. Also a nice sharp knive and some bigger water glasses would be nice.

El entorno y el camping precioso en medio del bosque y con el lago. Las piscinas muy bien.

Nous étions dans un mobil home très agréable dans un chemin piétonnier avec vu sur foret les emplacement tente ou caravane sont vraiment top par leurs espace vraiment privé délimiter par des haies les espaces public sont propre
la température de la piscine intérieur qui n'as était chauffé que le jeudi le manque de dialogue avec l'équipe, à notre arriver j'ai eu le droit directement à : voici vos clés par contre le camping ferme en fin de semaine donc plus de canoé,padel..... et moins d'activité car l'équipe est diminuer et au remise de clé pas un mot pour savoir comment c'étais passé le séjour j'aurais aimer en étre informé avant j'aurais pris une autre semaine

The swimming pools and slides are nice and the restaurant is good value with decent food. The on site shop during the last two weeks does not restock so food is difficult. The indoor swimming pool is also nice and heated. The zip lines are €20 per person which is expensive I feel. The restaurant in the local village was excellent
The shower and toilet facilities on the premium pitches are anything but premium and poorly maintained. They are beginning to rot and smell as such the decking is also not cleaned so very slippery when wet and the out door lighting was removed as we complained it wasn't working. We paid over €1000 and it was not worth it the pitch was really unlevel (259) and overall I felt there was a lack of value for money for what we paid.
The woodland setting was nice
Very unlevel pitches, lighting for the toilet wasn't working and they wouldn't fix it, decks were slippery when wet, the shower and toilet was very outdated and poor quality. Very over priced for the standard of accommodation.

Our 5th stay in 20 years. The site is very ‘natural’ with a lovely modern toilet / wash block.
Some areas are looking tired and in need of upgrade, refresh or replacement.
All pitches are a great size. The shed is very useful and having the fridge/ freezer is great.
The fridge freezer needs renewing. It was rusty and the legs fell off meaning it fell forward when you opened the door. The drain next to the pitch gave off an unpleasant smell. Note: you ask below about sorting our recycling. We did, but there was no place for cardboard / plastic separation - only general waste bins and glass. I wrote an email to you about the noisy group on the last night but have not had a response. The pool surround (white plastic) needs a good clean or replacement. The indoor pool needs monitoring as there were people bringing large inflatables and misbehaving.

Trés beau camping situé dans un cadre forestier avec un grand lac permettant toutes sortes d'activités.L'équipe d'animation (Inés Thomas, Victor...) est souriante, dynamique et très serviable,toujours à votre écoute, comme les propriétaires soucieux de faire progresser encore ce splendide lieu de vacances.

Facilities good if they had all been available, but our stay coincided with the last week of opening and some activities were closed, other curtailed as to days / hours available. The shop which the website says is so well stocked was very limited in fresh produce. Bar not opening until mid day. Kids club only until Thursday. Pitches are a good size but ours had significant mole activity meaning muddy lumps everywhere. Main pool very cold, small number of sun beds. Lake very good. The last night was significantly impacted by the staff partying with loud music until 3 am
If the site is advertised as open then ensure all facilities are available and dont make guests feel that you are clearing up and cant wait for them to leave to do so. Had all facilities been available all week rating would have been higher. Suggest you dont stay in the last week before they close ( which this year was 29th August - very early)

Fantastisch sanitair, ruime openingstijden van winkel, receptie e.d. Bijna elke avond was er wel iets te doen.
Het restaurant op de camping vonden wij echt niet goed. Service was prima, maar we hebben niet lekker gegeten. Bedjes bij het zwembad waren meteen weg. Misschien kan er op "gecontroleerd" worden dat er geen handdoeken worden neergelegd en de mensen daarna weg gaan.
Goede, ruime kampeerplaats. Vlakbij het sanitair gebouw

Viel zu Laute Animation und Konzerte bis spät in die Nacht, Pool unbeheizt -> auch bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur sehr kalt, die Kinder haben es höchstens 10 min ausgehalten Alles, wirklich alles (bis auf Pool und Schwimmbad) kostet extra, sogar das 4m Trampolin, das ist lächerlich. Kinderspielplatz könnte Spielgeräte für verschiedene Altersklassen beinhalten und größer sein.

Juste préciser que si le Parc Aquatique extérieur n'est pas chauffé, la Piscine couverte reste chauffée en permanence pour respecter une fourchette 25°-30°, comme annoncé sur notre site. Pour ce qui est des activités payantes, rappeler que l'accès aux aires de jeux (skate park, aires pour petits) et aires de sport (citystade, basket, badmington, boulodrome) sont gratuits ; ainsi le tennis et le mini-golf sont des activités gratuites (avec prêt gratuit de raquettes). Il en va de même pour les clubs Enfants et Ados. Les cours de Yoga donnés par un professeur certifié sont gratuits. Le Tir à l'Arc animé par un opérateur certifié est aussi une activité gratuite.

Accueil agréable
Très peu d’activités au sein du camping le 28 aout en raison de la fermeture et nous n’en avions pas été informés en amont.
La cabane en hauteur.
Le prix de la cabane est bien trop élevé par rapport à la prestation/lits/pas d’eau ni électricité/poussière/pas de rideau aux fenêtres pour la lumière. Il n’y avait rien pour essuyer la pluie au seul endroit où nous pouvions prendre le petit déjeuner.
Merci pour votre avis et désolé que vous ayez mal vécu cette expérience en Cabane. Notre camping ferme le 31 août depuis des années et cela est clairement exprimé sur notre site internet.

Easy site with big camping pitches. Lots to do when all open. Very clean shower blocks and pool great (when warm)
Lake is disgustingly and no lifeguard. Site is not “pretty”. Restaurant distinctly average. The paddle boards were not on the week we were there and there was no prior information about this. I hate the arcade. It’s just a draw to kids when it’s not needed. The bar often had long queues and drink choices were poor.
Good sized pitch with good shade. Nice shower/toilet and sink/fridge area.
In other Le Castles sites with premium pitch you get a table & chairs & sun shade and a cooking area. The BBQ (not allowed due to bans) was stone for charcoal not gas.
Merci pour votre avis. Vous préciser que notre lac n'est pas "répugnant" ; c'est un lac naturel de plus de 7 hectares, alimenté par des sources et entouré de forêts. Il reste un des seuls lacs naturels du département qui soit baignable en été (cf les contrôles ARS), à moins de préférer le Parc Aquatique ou la Piscine couverte !

Que ce soit de l accueil, des piscines, de l offre pour ce restaurer (restaurant, bar et supérette) c est top. Les logements sont propres bien agencé et le site est super (foret et repos).Et surtout un grand plus pour les animations proposées (soirées et pour les enfants) bravo à Victor et Lena Les 86
Peut être de nouvelles structures pour enfants seraient les bienvenus.

Fijne camping, genoeg te doen op de camping, mooie omgeving om erop uit te trekken, goeie hulp receptie, duidelijke informatie, leuk entertainment. Genoeg zwemmogelijkheden, 2 zwembaden + meertje.
Fijn verblijf, iets verouderd.

Dat er elke avond een activiteit was in de bar. De vele mogelijke randactiviteiten die kunnen gaan worden. Mooie gebouwen en geplaatst met kwalitatief materiaal. Springkussen in het meer.
Beperkt menu in restaurant en desondanks was het eten ondermaats, zeker voor een vijfsterrencamping. Matig onderhoud van de mooie gebouwen. Gevaar voor salmonella door kip die niet gekoeld aan de kassa staat in de minimarket.
Mooie grote staanplaatsen. Voldoende schaduw. Water en elektriciteit waren in orde.
Het terrein helde nogal fel af voor kampeerders met een tent.

Not as many entertainment or clubs or activities as in peak season despite it still being August. We arrived on 19 August and most chalets were empty and the campsite had a real feel of end of season with some activities not being on the calendar anymore and the paddle board on the lake closing on the Sunday. Maintenance teams starting to empty the chalets.

All staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool looks good but it was too crowded for us to use (it is a fair size but is smaller than it looks on the website) - we used the lake instead which was nice. There is lots for families to do here, and we found nice walks through the woodland. The parc should do more with this feature, perhaps create more cycle friendly routes around the woodland. The parc has a business room where you can remote work for free. This is a good feature that more campsites should adopt. It would be good if more was done (shop and Restaurant) for gluten free needs.
The site is very remote and there are virtually no transport links - a car is really needed to get around. We used a taxi once but was ripped off.
We stayed at a Premium pitch with sanitary block. The pitch was large and felt reasonably private. We liked the sanitary block with the large fridge freezer.
The sanitary block needs some maintenance and upkeep (loose floor boards for example). The electricity failed one evening and caused the freezer to defrost but the staff fixed the issue reasonably quickly. The pitches are large but some of the access is a little tight for large vehicles. It would be an improvement if some of the hedges/trees were cut back a little to widen the corners on the access roads. The premium pitches are expensive.
