A gem of a campsite, with a warm welcome, great facilities and attentive but relaxed management. So peaceful that the birdsong is enchanting morning and evening. Great location for visiting the various sights of Normandie. We hope to visit again!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le mobil home était très bien équipé et d'une propreté irréprochable. Les patrons sont super sympathiques et n'hésitent pas à vous renseigner sur la région et les lieux à visiter. Nous nous sommes régalés au restaurant pour un prix démocratique. Tout était parfait

The site continues to be maintained to a very high standard. We love the tranquility of Le Picard as well as it being close to local amenities and to a variety of places of interest.The well kept grounds are beginning to show the signs of Spring. We enjoyed the new shower/toilet block which is new this year adding to our comfort. Friends came for a few days to stay in one of the cottages and commented how excellent they found the new shower facilities and loved the swim in the pool (even though it was in the season the pool was warm and ready). They also found the cottage value for money.
Nothing to comment on. Delphine & Laurent are continuously making improvements. Each year we return there has been a lot of work been done over the winter.
The position of our favoured pitch with a lovely view of the countryside and were pleased to see the sheep in the field. Plus our pitch is near to the new block.

A lovely peaceful campsite in the heart of the Normandy countryside. Laurent and Delphine, the owners, were very welcoming, giving us a guided tour of the site and its facilities. They were also very congenial hosts in their little restaurant. The toilet and shower block was brand new and spotlessly clean.
A large, grass pitch with plenty of space between pitches.

C'était un excellente petit séjour.
Miroirs dans les chambres et un lumière dans la chambre de lits simple pour lire au lit.

Bonjour, Merci pour votre séjour. Nous sommes un peu étonnés de vos notes de 7 pour le service et le confort d'autant plus que nous vous avons surclassé. En effet au lieu du modèle standard vous avez eu un nouveau cottage plus confortable et plus récent que celui que vous aviez choisi afin d'être à proximité de vos amis et ceci sans surcoût. Nous pensions que vous auriez apprécié ce geste commercial et cette surprise. Nous constatons néanmoins au vu de vos appréciations que vous avez passé un excellent séjour et nous en sommes ravis. Nous prenons note de la suggestion des miroirs même s'il est impossible d'en mettre dans les chambres peut-être dans le salon. Quant aux spots au dessus du lit dans la chambre enfant nous transmettrons au concepteur car ils sont conçus ainsi. Cordialement, Delphine & Laurent

Die Flexibilität der Camping Betreiber. Die Anlage war sauber. Die Parzellen grosszügig angelegt. In der Nacht die automatische Beleuchtung (Bewegungsmelder) war sehr gut. Keine Hunde! Die frühe Saisoneröffnung!!!

Fabulous & enthusiastic welcome! Very peaceful site in great location for exploring the D Day beaches & museums.
Fair size grass pitch. Excellent water pressure. Secluded from neighbouring pitch by low hedging which is well maintained.

The cottage was very nice, clean with good amenities. The campsite is well maintained and in a great location. We had a wonderful stay.

Very warm and informative welcome. Large individual pitches with water and electricity on them. Very convenient for touring North Normandy, beaches and Bayeux. Lovely quiet rural setting.
Toilets and shower facilities are small and dated but very clean.
Excellent sized and serviced pitch. Watch out for falling acorns.

Peaceful, quiet, private pitches. Very clean facilities.
Very clean which is a fantastic. I use contact lenses & felt confident cleaning them daily at the facilities of this campsit. Lovely heated pool but sadly we did not have time to use it. Laurent equipped us with various maps & guidance leaflets which was very very useful.

Sanitair is nu half buiten. Mag wat ons betreft meer overdekt. Brood was niet fantastisch.

Bonjour, Nous vous remercions pour votre retour d'expérience et votre séjour. Nous sommes ravis de lire que vous ayez apprécié la proximité des sites touristiques pour découvrir la Normandie. Nous souhaitons néanmoins apporter quelques précisions sur les points "négatifs" que vous avez relevés. Le cottage que vous avez occupé est situé à 15m du local poubelle qui est entouré de palissade, la nuisance visuelle est donc restreinte (hormis une vue à 15m sur le composteur), pas de nuisance sonore puisque le camion de ramassage des ordures ménagères n'entre pas dans le camping (seul le vidage des colonnes de plastiques ou de verres tous les 15 jours après 9h) et pas de nuisance olfactive. Par contre vous avez bénéficié d'aucun vis à vis sur d'autres cottages et d'une très belle vue lorsque vous êtes à table avec une fenêtre donnant sur le champs avec les moutons : effectivement le dialogue avec ces proches voisins ovins n'est pas guère facile ..). La bonne nouvelle est que l'année prochaine le local sera décalé. Merci pour vos commentaires et espérons vous revoir pour un prochain séjour "nature" en Normandie. Cordialement, Delphine & Laurent
