Fantastic week for myself and my family. We stayed in a safari lodge and it was magical to wake up in the wooded surroundings. Spent the entire week cycling, playing table tennis and having fun in the pools. We even manage to try fishing and catch a bunch of fish. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax orCashles give the kids a fun filled week.
Top up app is a pain to use on the wristbands with three kids. You have to keep adding your details each time you top up. Can take a long time with 5 people. Much easier going into reception and using cash.

First time at this site having spent many years at a site in the Loire which sadly no longer has touring pitches. La Garangeoire was above what we expected. Relaxing, safe, hard working staff, beautiful location, lots on offer on site and great sized pitches. Will definitely go again.
Make the terrace bar near reception into a non pedestrian walk way. We loved spending time here with friends also on site late afternoon most days, slightly spoilt by the amount of people having to walk through this space.
Good sized pitch with sun and shade and near to amenities.
Too many campers driving too fast past us. Either more speed signs or better enforcement of the need to drive slowly.

We loved our previous stay so much we brought back the whole family. We loved the facilities, the atmosphere, the activities. My 9 year old loved going to pick up breakfast from the shop every morning. It felt very safe to let him go alone. I really like the green eco friendly initiatives. I was so pleased to see the swallows again. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The 10pm noise reduction was very well adhered to.
It got too hot for our dog. The dog field is great and a small pool would be a great addition in the crazy hot weather. The crepes felt rushed and our stove was too hot so they were burning within seconds of pouring. Last time it was a more leisurely relaxing experience.

Excellence from the arrival to the departure and the 5.5 weeks between. We love being here and the manner in which the site is run. Children and very happy and safe, Anne and Eric are always around and I feel relaxed the moment I drive up the tree lined avenue towards the castle
Fantastic. We select our pitch and are so thankful we always get out first choice.

Perfect, great family resort that has everything you need. Lovely pool area, lagoon fabulous for the little ones and great food and drink areas . Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Only one critique for me , was the bar didn’t stick full sugar coke and due to my intolerance to artificial sugar was unable to drink at the bar .
Great, clean and tidy and loved the fact I didn’t have to walk far for the sanitary facilities

The campsite is the most relaxed and welcoming place we visit! The people you meet become lifelong friends and we always can’t wait to return next year.

Grand Camping Trés propre, accueillant avec de la verdure, arbres, nature, les pigeons qui roucoulent...un mobilhome PMR adapté aux personnes handicapées est un sacré plus pour les familles qui sont en recherche de place et adaptations. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse d'Anne pour son aide dans plusieurs de nos demandes, merci également pour le transat qui était à disposition de notre fille polyhandicapée, gravement malade. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
Pour les mobilhomes PMR, une climatisation serait un point trés positiif neanmoins nous avons pu obtenir un prêt de ventilateurs qui nous a été trés utile,
Mobilhome PMR donc grande chambre, seuils plats, Rampe accés et salle de bains adaptée, parfait.
Le manque de wifi mais ce n'est pas un souci ;-)

This camping has been a great surprise for us. We booked it based on reviews and expected a great and easy camping experience. We were hoping for a 5 star camping, somehow they managed to add a 6 stars on our book. We have 3 children, we felt safe they can roam the campsite. They had a lot of activities to do, between the playground or the planned activities at the camping. There is a water fountain easy to access for the kids near the pool/restaurant. They were able to manage their hydration themselves. The camping pitches were really good too, lot of shades, excellent amenities.
The pain au chocolat or the croissant, they are not as good as the one you can get to the boulangerie in the town next door. That's the difference between real butter croissant and palm oil or vegetable oil based ones.
This is the best pitch you can get. It is not glamping, but it is as good as that. Having the toilet and shower on the pitch was a real luxury. I don't think my wife will ever be able to go camping without the privatised toilet on the pitch. Our kids got up in the middle of the nights for the loo and sorted themselves. They didn't have to go far for this.
A few more shelves could be added in the kitchen or in the bathroom to help keep things tidied.

Every aspect of La Garangeoire works so well. The staff are all helpful, friendly and positive and the owners are always visible and work so hard. The new fountain and splash area addition to the pool area is beautiful and such a lovely relaxing place to still be at the pool but without the hustle and bustle - perfect for those who need somewhere a little more calm. Our teenagers love meeting up with friends they have made in previous years. We just love coming here and I’m sure we will be back next year!
We love the bands in the evening and wish there could be more!
Having the fridge, furniture and bbq made it easier for our travel arrangements

Our second time back to this wonderful campsite did not disappoint. We had a brilliant time.
The shop being open for longer hours each day would be great.

It would be great if guests could prebook their favourite pitches by name.

A really enjoyable stay
Excellent sized pitch. Loved the convenience of having a fridge and bbq on the pitch. Very clean toilet facilities. Excellent staff - all very friendly and hard working

Prachtige, sfeervolle camping met grote, schaduwrijke plekken. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en neemt grote moeite om te helpen als dat nodig is.
Het had ons leuk geleken om met een balletje te mogen overgooien in het zwembad. Of met een band te mogen zwemmen. Ze zijn daar heel streng in. En we misten de mogelijkheid om borrelhapjes te kunnen bestellen bij de zwembadbar. We misten een avond programma dat wat meer voor oudere kinderen en volwassenen is.
Ruime plek met veel schaduw en een fijn privé sanitair
Ik miste een plankje in de douche. Het plankje dat bovenop de boiler kast zat, was ingezakt, waardoor je er niets op kon zetten.

Mooie camping: ruime staanplaatsen, schoon sanitair, lekker zwembad en genoeg te doen op de camping en in de omgeving!
Het zou fijn zijn als je een staanplaats naar wens zou kunnen reserveren, want niet alle plekken zijn even groot en liggen niet allemaal in de schaduw of zon.
Fijn sanitair: wc, douche en keukentje met kookplaat (elektrisch) en koelkast. Ook het tuinmeubilair en grote gasbarbecue zijn top!
Helaas niet met voorkeur een plaatsnummer/naam te boeken.

Comme chaque année, très bonne relation avec tout le personnel. Ils sont souriants, à l'écoute et réactifs. Un énorme panel d'activités nous est proposé tous les jours et tous les soirs (Piscine, centre équestre, mini golf …). Nous ne nous sommes pas ennuyés ! Nous aimons également le soir, c'est de nous regrouper pour les Quiz, les concerts et autres. L'ambiance est assurée à 100%. Ce que nous apprécions aussi, c'est le calme qui règne sur notre emplacement. Mille mercis à vous tous.
Éventuellement, dans les WC extérieurs du bloc sanitaire, l'après-midi, il manque du papier toilette.
L'emplacement "Rossignol" est très bien entretenu comme chaque année.

La Garangeoire c'est un endroit qui ressemble en un seul lieu tout ce qui se fait en terme de qualité : site, emplacements, service, contact client, prestations, animations... On ressent le souci qu'à la direction de bien servir, d'être humain, dans le respect de la nature mais aussi de ses employés. Toujours le sourire, la conversation, le temps pris pour parler... Il y a une grande intelligence derrière cette belle machine et cela se voit et se ressent. C'est pour cela qu'on y est bien et qu'on y revient, plusieurs fois par an, un peu plus longtemps chaque fois. Merci
Cette année, peut-être un petit bémol sur la carte du restaurant moins originale qu'avant et peut-être un peu moins qualitative.

* erg veel onrust op camping na 22.30 * geen hoog/laag verschoon brancard voor minder valide om te kunnen verschonen. Er is een invalide toilet/ bad / douche heel erg fijn. Maar om liggend een mindervalide te kunnen verschonen ontbreekt een lig bed/brancard.
