Loved our time here. This is the third time of staying.

We chose the site having been Castel’s customers previously and wanting to discover this part of Normandy. We weren’t disappointed, the site has a superb ‘feel’, is well laid out and meticulously clean and tidy. The indoor pool is excellent, the bar/ games room area very relaxed and the outside terrace welcoming. The pitch is a good size and well laid out.
The new external pool in 2025 will make a difference, the current pool is tiny. When we arrived there was only one member of the team on reception who was then showing people to their pitches so the queue just got bigger and bigger. Would be helpful if the site plan showed the different pitches - I tried to pick a pitch but kept being advised the one I was selecting wasn’t the right kind, with no advice as to which were so gave up.

Fantastisch, al op heel veel campings geweest maar dit was echt prettig wat een ruimte!

Het is altijd bemoedigend om te lezen dat onze gasten de ruimte en rust die wij bieden waarderen. We hebben kennis genomen van uw opmerkingen over de schoonmaak van het sanitair. De netheid van het sanitair is een must-have voor ons, dus we zijn verrast door uw opmerking. Onze schoonmakers komen meerdere keren per dag om de toiletten schoon te maken (elke dag tussen 6 uur 's ochtends en 10 uur 's avonds), maar het kan gebeuren dat ze tussen hun bezoeken door vies worden. Die Toiletten und Duschen räumlich zu trennen..Ich dusche und nebenan…das ist nicht schön. Auch das Urinal ist einsehbar🙁 Kaum Mülleimer unterwegs auf dem Gelände um Kotbeutel zu entsorgen, die gab es kaum-bis gar nicht oder wir haben keine gefunden

De camping is ruim opgezet, vriendelijk personeel. Zwembaden waren prima en natte gedeeltes schoon.

We visited this site at the end of May 2024 for the first time and found the site easily and access was good. Friendly staff and good pitches/facilities - we would re visit again

The site is very relaxing, very well maintained and very clean. Small shop on site but we'll stocked, bread and pastries has to be ordered the night before and is ready for pick up by 0800hrs. Access to the site is excellent even if on are towing a large twin axle like us, make sure if using a way and its up to date as there was a new road off the motorway which made it easier to get to the site. Staff at the site greeted you with a smile and cheerful even after a long day and in my case were very helpful as the car went into limp more so they assisted me in get the breakdown service.
On the pitch we had a shed with table and chairs, fridge and an extra microwave, which is always welcome with big families and there was space left over to put bikes away.
Pitch not completely level and was a little rutty but I manage to level some of the rugs in front of the caravan door, like everywhere they had had a lot of rain so vehicles made the rutts. If you have a big van some of the corners have large plant pots on them but are passable with care.

A lovely campsite. Very pretty and close to nature and peaceful. Great staff.
Clean and spacious and main living areas were was ideal for a wheelchair.
Bathroom needed better adaptions for disabled person: A fixed shower seat is essential otherwise the person could easily fall when transferring on to it. The shower head was not attached to wall. This makes a shower very difficult if you are trying to help a disabled person and have to hold this all the time. Not good or safe.

Unsuitable pitches for wet weather. Better trained staff are needed to deal with appropriate placing of units to sensible pitches able to be used. We were refused the opportunity to upgrade to hard standing.

Inappropriate pitches for the very bad weather in March and April. We were directed to a muddy pitch too wet to use. Ended up parking on pathway. Very bad service from the reception staff.

To ensure your comfort and avoid you getting stuck, we have offered many of our holidaymakers, including you, the opportunity to park on the road. This made it easier to get around in difficult conditions. We understand that this was not an ideal solution, but we took this decision in order to offer you greater safety and convenience. However, our team remembers seeing you reassured when a solution was found, so please understand our surprise when we discovered your dissatisfaction with this platform. We would have liked to be able to offer you a stabilised pitch, but unfortunately these were all booked at that time. We can assure you that our team always does its best to find suitable solutions, even in unforeseen situations.
