Sehr ruhig, mitten in der Natur, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber, schöner großer Pool, ausgezeichnetes frisches Essen im Restaurant, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundliche Besitzer, wir waren nur auf der Durchreise für 2 Nächte dort und wären gerne länger geblieben, kommen gerne wieder!
Großzügiger, schattiger Stellplatz für ein 7 m Wohnmobil (sonnige und halb sonnige Stellplätze waren auch verfügbar)

De passage pour une nuit, nous avons passé un agréable moment en famille, camping très calme, petite piscine bien sympathique, dommage que le lac ne soit pas entretenu pour la pêche 🎣 nous avons été très bien accueilli, les sanitaires très propres.
L'accessibilité au abords du lac pour pêcher comme indiqué lors de notre arrivée, malheureusement trop d'herbes hautes aux abords, mais le camping est grand et nous comprenons que l'entretien prend beaucoup de temps et d'énergie.
Nous avons pu choisir notre emplacement pour camping car ce qui est rare et très appréciable.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir pris le temps de laisser un avis. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez fait une pause relaxante au cours de votre voyage. Nous lisons et prenons tous les commentaires au sérieux. Je suis donc d'accord avec vous concernant la zone de pêche. Les rives du lac sont coupées chaque hiver et nous essayons de garder certaines zones dégagées pendant l'été afin de permettre l'accès au lac pour la pêche. Cependant, pour diverses raisons, nous n'avons pas eu le temps cette année. Merci de votre compréhension.

Mooie locatie, vriendelijke eigenaren, prima plekken, wat verouderd maar schoon toiletgebouw. Fijn zwembad, leuk terras aan het water, lekker en niet duur eten en drinken.

Large spacious pitches, plenty of shade from trees. Handy for overnight stop when travelling north/south.
Showers could do with updating, quite tight cubicles and awkward step up to shower.

Lovely hosts. The food is absolutely delicious & well worth the cost. Swimming Pool is so good too.
Update the shower/toilet block. Getting up to the pool could also do with a handrail.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. We are delighted that you apreciated your overnight stop. For future reference there is a more accessible route to the swimming pool, with no steps, it is possible to park your car near to the swimming pool. Every pitch has a wooden peg with its number. We take every review seriously, and we note your comments on the age of the toilet block. However I must stress that it is kept very clean and we have a new solar powered hot water sysytem .We provide toilet paper and hand soap, all of the shower heads, hoses and taps are new. We also have specially designed toilets that have comfortable rounded tops, so do not need a toilet seat - this is important for cleanliness and hygene. If we rebuilt the toilet block, it may be more esthetically pleasing but it would not serve its purpose any better. It would however be lovely to be able to do this, but at the current time we choose to invest in projects that improve the enviroment & our sustainability.

Welcoming site with excellent restaurant only there for 1 night but meal was excellent on site very good value.
The shower block is a little dated and could do with upgrade but a nice stopover site

Das (ursprünglich britische) Betreiber-Paar ist so herzlich und engagiert, dass dieser gute Eindruck direkt im Kopf bleibt.
Der Stellplatz war sehr groß und lag im Halbschatten - also ideal.
Der Sanitärbereich sollte mal saniert werden. Das war der einzige Campingplatz auf dem wir die Duschen nicht nutzen wollten...

Although I am quite upset about the comment on the shower facilities, yes the building is old - we do not hide this fact in the pictures on our website (although the disabled facilities are much newer). However we are scrupulous about cleanliness & hot water, we also provide soap & toilet paper. We were not made aware of any problems in this regard. The taps, shower heads and hoses are all new. I am sorry that you had a bad impression.

In a peaceful location, the campsite has plenty of shade, a nice pool and fabulous on site restaurant / bar. We ate there both nights and highly recommend their €23 four course menu with wine and bread, lots of choice and great value with great service, very enjoyable!
Camper van services could be improved as there is no drive over facility for grey waste so currently you do need a grey waste hose or bucket.
Reasonable size and well shaded. Plenty of water taps nearby.

Lights in sanitation block did not stay on for long, plunging you into darkness mid shower/shave!
Thank you for taking the time to review your 1 night stay. We take all reviews seriously so that we can continue to offer the best experience possible to our campers. I do feel that I need to clarify a few of your comments. Our toilet block is not new, however the taps, shower heads and hoses & the toilets are all new. We provide hand soap and toilet paper. We show detailed pictures of all facilities on our website so that our campers know what to expect. They are kept spotlessly clean. There are lights on permanently from dusk until dawn, the timed light is just to improve the lighting on a dull day - the toilet block is certainly never in full darkness, if you had a particular problem with the lighting we would have apreciated it being reported to us so that we could check that everything was functioning properly. Noting your score of 8 for sustainability we have solar powered hot water, and generate at least 30 % of our electricity by solar also, we hand sort the recycling to make sure that we are as resposible as possible. A composter is set aside for the use of our campers.

Friendly owners, Sue and George, a beautifully kept quiet site, excellent and spotless facilities. A lovely bar / restaurant overlooking the mill pond. There is a swimming pool with great views over the valley. We definitely recommend this site.
